you enjoy. Rating: NC 17 Trowa's Secret Part 10
"Wu Fei, we talked about this." Dr. Helix
sounded as if he was just outside the room. "Who the hell is
that?" "Heero Yuy." "Is he a patient?" "No. He's Trowa's boyfriend." "Visiting hours hasn't started yet." "Yeah, but Trowa was admitted yesterday. He was
pretty bad off and Heero stayed with him." "The whole night?" "Yeah." "This isn't a hotel. This isn't to happen again."
I glanced back up at Heero. He was awake now. A bad feeling washed
over me as I watched Dr. Helix and Wu Fei enter the room. "Good
morning Trowa. How are you feeling today?" "Fine." "Mr. Yuy, is it?" Dr. Helix turned his attention
to Heero. "Could I ask you to step outside for a few minutes?
I'd like to talk to Trowa." "No." The doctor appeared surprised by Heero's
answer. "Visiting hours haven't even started yet. . .so
technically, you're not suppose to be here." "And?" I did my best to keep a straight face,
as was Wu Fei. Dr. Helix had a lot of power in and out of the clinic.
He wasn't use to students standing up to him. "Whatever you have to say, you can say in front
of him." I stated bluntly and sat up straight. The doctor cleared
his throat before continuing. "If you insist. Last night, you passed over into
the fifth phase Trowa. We'll be transferring you to your permanent
room." "Permanent room?" I looked up at him. What
the hell was he talking about? He must be out of his mind if he thinks
I'm staying in this damn clinic. "As you recall, the papers you signed granted us
the authorization to oversee your health and decide what would be
best to meet your medical means. After careful consideration, we've
decided that it would be best if you stayed in the clinic for awhile."
"What?" I glanced over at Wu Fei. It seems
that this was the first that he's heard of it as well. "With your current health record, it. . ."
"Don't give me that bullshit." I glared at
him, knowing that he was only doing this because I had missed one
treatment. When he found out about it yesterday, he was pissed. "I've already made arrangements with the dean.
You're to be moved here so we can properly care for you." He
continued as if I didn't even say anything. "The policy is that only the students that are
too sick to attend class is suppose to reside here." Wu Fei pointed
out defensively. "That's the way it was with the other students."
"And all the others didn't make it, did they?"
The doctor shot back. "I'm not going to be any different, and I refuse
to stay in this damn clinic!" "You signed over that right when you volunteered
Trowa." "On what grounds do you have for keeping him here?"
Wu Fei interrupted. "I'm surprised that you're rivaling against me
Wu Fei. Don't you care at all for your friend's health." "I do, and that's why I feel that this isn't right.
Keeping him locked up here isn't going to help him in the least."
I could hear the anger in his voice. If there's one thing Wu Fei couldn't
stand it was an injustice. "I've been taking care of Trowa for the pass two
years. I think I know what's best for him by now, and I'm telling
you that you're reducing his time by trying to make him stay here.
No medicine in the world can do for him what being with Heero does.
You take that from him and he'll die a lot quicker." I looked
back at Heero on this comment. I could tell that the last statement
had tore at his heart. It surprised me that he was being so stoic
on the conversation. I thought, for sure, that he would have said
something by now. "It's already decided Wu Fei." "Then we'll appeal it." Heero entered and
narrowed his eyes at Dr. Helix. The older man seemed a little shaken
by the look Heero was giving him. Most people coward under it. . .and
why wouldn't they? For as long as I've known him, he's had a certain
air shrouding him that clearly stated that he was the last person
someone would want to upset. Right now, this doctor was getting on
his bad side. As usual, Heero had the last word. The room grew silent
after he had spoken. The doctor wasn't going to argue any more. He
merely left the room, claiming that he had to tend to another patient.
I wasn't worried about being stuck in the clinic. I knew with both
Heero and Wu Fei appealing the decision, I'll be out in no time. ~ * ~ Chapter
