of MTV's Fear program. So I barrowed their ideal. I would love for

to win; based soley on the team structure. Even if you never respond
again on this fanfic or any other. . .please let me know who you think
will win. Fear Part 4 It was so silent that every little sound was heard.
The soft footfalls. The steady hum of the equipment. It was so still
that one could hear their own heart beat. This was the kind of scene
that a mind couldn't help but wander. It was then that normal people
started imagining things. Sounds and the feeling that someone or something
was always behind them. The silence was maddening. There had to be
a way to break it. There just had to be. Mina racked her brain for
something to say. She had to get Trowa to talk. Otherwise, she was
going to go insane with this constant silence. She studied him in
the dim light and wondered what sort of thing the Gundam pilots talk
about in their free time. "So how is your metal man thing?" She asked,
trying to sound like she knew what she was talking about. "I
think yours is really cool with that huge scythe and demon wings."
Trowa barely glanced at her. That was a start. At least now he was
acknowledging her. "Trying to make Trowa talk?" Catherine wondered
over the speakers. "No, I'm just trying to keep our minds distracted.
Distracted minds makes time fly." Mina answered. "Well, here's a hint." Yaten snapped. "His
metal man is the one with the really big gun." "Big gun?" Mina laughed a little at her own
mistake. "The red one." Yaten added as an afterthought.
"Oh!. . .So you like to shoot things?" She
asked and stared at the back of Trowa's head. "This was the corridor of the patient's rooms."
Yaten explained. "You must enter room 103." Trowa lead the
way to the room. He flashed his light along the numbers until he found
the one that they were looking for. He then pushed open the door and
entered. Mina followed behind him. "Ever hear of ladies first?" She wondered.
In truth, she had no problem with him being first, she just wanted
him to say something. Anything. Even if it was an insult. Trowa only
looked back at her. His eyes soaked in the petite Sailor Scout, then
he stepped aside and gestured for her to venture further. Wishing
she hadn't open her big mouth, Mina walked to the center of the small
room. She could feel his green eyes still watching her. "Your first dare Mina and Trowa is to stay locked
in this padded room for two hours." Catherine informed. "Two whole hours?! What are we supposed to do for two hours? We definitely won't be talking. That's for sure." Mina teased, and waited for a response, which there wasn't. She looked over at Trowa to find that he had already closed the door and was leaning against the wall. It was then that she realized that he was just as cute as Quatre. Maybe this wasn't as bad as she thought it to be. Yeah, that's all I have to do. She thought to herself. I'll think positive and keep trying. Who knows, maybe before this game is over, I'll get him to talk to me. I wonder what his voice sounds like? Man I hope it isn't all high pitched and squeaky. Maybe that's why he doesn't talk much. He must have a messed up voice. ******* "Man, it really stinks here." Lita announced,
covering her mouth and nose with her hand. Wu Fei only laughed. He
didn't seem to mind the smell. "What do you expect a old building to smell like?
A bed of roses?" Lita narrowed her eyes and ran in front of Wu
Fei. She stopped him dead in his tracks and aimed her flashlight in
his face. "You know, you have a serious attitude problem.
Which you should get adjusted. Maybe then you'd have a lot more friends."
"You sound like a real know it all." Wu Fei
countered and pushed the light down. "I at least know my manners." "Too bad you don't practice them. You should be
seen and not heard." Wu Fei grinned and walked around her. He
wasn't trying to be mean, he just wanted to aggravate the brunette.
He seen her show many times. He knew she was the strongest of the
five and wanted a taste of her strength first hand. "Okay, that's enough you two." Andrew warned
all at once. "Straight ahead, there's a stairwell that goes to
the attic." "Most of the patients of this faccinity was kept
on the floor you're on now. However, the worse of the patients were
kept in the attic. You'll be going into the room of the most distrubed
person in the history of this asylum." Sally informed as the
two climbed the stairs. "The room is the last one in the hall."
"On which side?" Lita wondered as they neared
the end of the passage. "Probably that one." Wu Fei answered and shone
his flashlight on a door straight across from them. "Why do you say that?" "Because it's the last one in the hall." Wu
Fei countered. "Maybe you're not a know it all." He chided
and continued walking. He had an arrogant air about him that made
Lita want to slug him as hard as she could. She stopped in her tracks
and drew back her fist. Before the punch could land, Wu Fei spun around
to face her. He siezed the threatening fist. "The weak shouldn't
fight." He taunted, released her hand, then turned to enter the
room. "Wu Fei, this is your dare." Andrew intervined.
"Lita can not help you in any way." "Many channelers use different methods of contacting
spirits. You're dare is to contact a spirit by the means set out before
you." As Sally spoke, Wu Fei noticed a pencil and notepad sitting
in one of the chairs. "In this method, you will ask the spirits
a question, and they will write the answer by using your hand."
Lita walked into the room and watched as Wu Fei picked up the pencil
and paper. "You want to get in contact with Blanche Malcolm."
"A woman?" "She was the person that last resided in this room."
Sally enlightened. "She was believed to be possessed by several
demons. She was so deranged that after her death, the doctors feared
that she would possess any patient that slept here. So they locked
the door and disregarded the fact that the room existed." "Figures, it would be a woman." "Ever occur to you that maybe a man caused her
to go crazy?" Lita snarled. "If that were true, then it was her fault for being
weak enough to be persuaded." That was all Lita could take. Without
warning, she swung at Wu Fei. Once again her wrist was seized. "Didn't we already go through this? You're too
weak to fight me." "I'm not weak!" Frustrated, Lita tried with
her free hand, but it was also captured. She tried a cocobunt, but
it was easily dodged. "Okay, that's enough!" Andrew announced over the speakers. He was ignored as Lita tried to pull free. Somehow she managed and began swinging at the Chinese
pilot. He easily dodged or blocked each attempt. "You're a weak fighter." Wu Fei sneered as
he pinned her to the wall. Completely flustered and filled to the
brim with desire to land at least one hit, Lita did the only thing
she was capable of at the time. She planted her knee as firmly into
Wu Fei's groin as she possibly could. The restraining hands loosen
on her wrists as he pulled back. "I might be a weak fighter, but I don't leave myself
open for cheap shots." "Wu Fei, that's enough!" Sally screamed. "You've
been defeated fair and square, now leave it at that." "You call that fair?" Wu Fei questioned. "If you were paying attention, you could have blocked
it." Lita provoked and added a giggle. "But since you were
being full of yourself, you got what you deserved." As this was
said, Lita was lifted into the air. "Hey, what the Hell?"
She was swung a bit before being thrown roughly against the wall.
"Are you okay?" Wu Fei asked and kneeled next
to the crumpled figure. She looked up at the coal eyes. Her own green
eyes seemed different. They appeared darker, almost black. "Lita?"
All at once, she lunged at the boy kneeling next to her. Her fingers
tightly encircling his neck. Wu Fei seized both of the threatening
wrists and pulled at them. They were surprisingly strong. Too strong
for him. To make matters worse, they were tightening around his neck.
Suddenly, he flipped the girl off of him and he sprang to his feet.
"That's enough. You won't win." Wordlessly, she charged
the pilot again. Wu Fei jumped over her and slammed the side of his
hand into her neck. The Sailor Scout crumpled under the force. "Wu Fei, what happen?" Sally asked suddenly.
"I lost both of your cameras." "Tell me how to get out of here Sally." "Where's Lita?" Andrew's voice was full of
concern. Wu Fei gently picked up his teammate and turned toward the
door. "She's going to be fine. This woman is insane."
He said softly and looked about the room.
