"It's only Words" January. 2003 ShenLong I watch you through the gathering of people and am reminded yet again of the ease in which you can relate with everyone. That happy-go-lucky personality of yours manages to win over the most dissent of people. As if feeling the weight of my eyes upon your form you slowly look in my direction, never ceasing in your conversation with the people around you. Your violet depths seek out my own and lock. A smile graces that sweet heart shaped face and I feel my breath catch in my throat. // Smile an everlasting smile, That smile... somehow it always melts my heart; and you know it. Regardless of whether we are separated by an ocean of people, the vastness of space, or mere centimeters, that smile somehow melds us together. Distance ceases to exist as does the world around us when your face lights up with that inner beauty that is just for me. I held you in my arms and tried to soothe away your fears and nightmares as you did for me. I hated to see you unhappy. As we stared up at the moon that night and I took you in my arms I knew what I had to do. "Duo.... will you marry me?" The shimmering of the moonlight as your eyes welled gave me my answer. The fierceness of your hug showed me the depth of your love. The kiss you bestowed on my lips promised me the future. Have I told you just how much I adore the sound of your voice? I know I often berated you during the wars for your incessant babble but when I took the time to actually listen to what you said I found another intriguing facet in the enigma that was you and I grew to love the sounds that came from your throat. Now it is constant music to my ears, whether it be chatting about nothing in particular, whispering words of love or screaming my name in passion as I take us both to heights we never dreamed of. // And I will give you all my life, As I spoke my own vows so I locked each one within my heart. To watch your face as I responded with my own promise of love and adoration told me more than mere words ever could. Fingers entwined I lead you from the reception and the well wishes of friends and out to the waiting car. Arriving at our hotel I sign us in and lead you to our suite. Kissing those pouting lips I close and lock the door before picking you up and carrying you to the bed. Removing the barrier of clothing I worship every inch of your skin and you return the gift to my own. Our love making is tender and slow as we rediscover each others bodies. Gentle touches are received and given, whispers of breath upon heated flesh as we torture sensitive nerves drives us to unexplored heights. And when we rise together, reaching the point of ultimate pleasure I know my life is complete. Your breathing settles and becomes deep and regular. I hold your naked form close to my own and brush away the few strands of silk that dared to obstruct my view of your perfect face; a face that is peaceful and content. My heart swells until I feel it must surely burst from the love I hold within.
