You're melancholy considering what day it is. And you're awful chatty for a change, Soldier Boy. Only because I am concerned that something may be on your mind and distracting you from the mission we're on. *snort* Of course. Always worried about the damned mission. Well, don't worry. My mind couldn't be clearer. Even today? I'm surprised you haven't so much as wished me a Merry Christmas yet, or snuck presents in Deathscythe's cockpit. Actually, I'm trying to forget what day it is, so thanks for bringing it up. ... *sigh* Today is just a reminder of what we don't have. The things most people take for granted every second while we're out here fighting to stay alive. A home... family... happiness... love. Just once in my miserable existence I would have liked to have had any one of those! So, yea, I would rather not think about what fucking day it is! ... Sorry. I didn't mean to shout like that. The last thing I ever want to do is feel bad for myself, but... this time of year it catches up with me. Forgive me for correcting you, but you already have a few of those things, Duo. Like what?! Well, you yourself were the one to call the five of us pilots brothers. That would be a family of sorts. You're always the one preaching that we make our own happiness and you find the bright side in everything... including the war. A home is out of the question for the time being as the only item on that Christmas list that you are missing. You forgot love. Out of all of those, I doubt that will ever hap-hmrph! ... ... ... ...R-'Ro? Did you really just...? Keep your head in the game, as you call it. We can discuss it... after the mission. O-okay.
